Congregational Tools

Congregations are at the forefront of the Reform Movement's social action work, from direct service to local advocacy. At this portal, you can find tools, programming ideas, resources, and funds for multiple aspects of social action work geared towards congregations and local communities.

Congregational Tools

These tools — including text studies, activities, and more — will help you incorporate social justice themes into your holiday celebrations, from Tu BiSh'vat to Hanukkah.

The RAC partners with Nothing But Nets and the United Nations Foundation to raise awareness and funds in the fight against malaria.

Learn about social action opportunities for teens, from summer camp to L'Taken Seminars, and see resources from NFTY Convention's social justice programming.

Looking for a way to integrate social justice themes into your worship services or congregational mission? Our rabbinic resources include sermon starters and sample prayers and speeches on a variety of social justice topics.

Wondering how to establish a social action committee, fund a social action program, navigate the legality of a congregational position on public policy, or practice socially responsible investment? Check out these resources for congregational leadership, including clergy, lay leaders, or staff.

The Irving J. Fain Awards, awarded every other year, honor exemplary social action projects in URJ congregations.
